If you have been following all the posts about our top four selected winners of the “under pressure and improvised ” design contest you might be wondering why a very simple design stood out as a winner among almost 40 design ideas.
An eye for design, taste, an avant-garde approach and some innate talent was considered when the three judges selected this necklace as the Ist place winner.
Josephine Yen is a very talented designer who specializes in bead embroidering and thousands of other mediums…lol. She simply combined checker and peacock dagger beads together to create this winning necklace… in 40 minutes! Josephine combined beads with different styles and colors of prints and still achieved a great result. I think that the white faux-pearls did the trick and brought some balance to such bold idea.
Congrats Josephine. We unanimously loved your design. You beaded and strung to the max and got your “De Luxe Instant Glam gift bag” because you deserve it! Your simple necklace has the star quality I was looking for, dahhhling! You made it!
