I always enjoy sharing designs from Nancy Donaldson. Earlier this summer I spent a day with her as we experimented with the Faux Suede Lace and Tassel collection.
In almost no time, Nancy designed this necklace to feature our new products elegantly.
She found a quick and easy way to create this shape. Do you know how?
Quick links from Beadalon are perfect for this task!
Are you ready to support a team this summer in our two big world cup series? I am making jewelry for friends and family with our Metal Complex handmade bezels.
These are handmade bezels which are available in brass, silver and antique brass.
I am finding team logos online and printing them onto paper. I am not selling this jewelry, it is for personal use only. I am locating the team logos for fans of specific countries.
I am placing my images into the bezels and the simply pouring in Jewelry Resin. We have lots of Jewelry resin how-to posts on the blog under the sidebar title “resin.” The paper images need to be sealed and the resin is mixed according to the package directions.
I used my kumihimo disk to make a colour coordinated braid for one necklace.
I plan on making more braids to match country flags.
I also used our Faux Suede lace to make a simple necklace for a more manly look.
Our whole line of fun products for a summer of soccer fever is linked online.
This simple but elegant bracelet features our Dazzle-it hot pink faux suede lacing and a knot. Nancy Donaldson created this bracelet when I challenged her to use the lace and one of the knots featured in our Lovely Knots booklet. This is a looser version of the double coin knot Fernando DaSilva showcased in the booklet.
Nancy glued all the suede lace ends into one end cap clasp set.
We have so many wonderful magnetic clasps to choose from in our Dazzle-it catalog.
Nancy never wastes anything. Faced with some left-over cut pieces, she smartly choose to wire wrap her ends into earrings.
Hot pink faux suede lace!
Our Lovely Knots booklet.
Faux suede is easily incorporated into wearable jewelry projects.
Nancy Donaldson used both our lace and one of our new tassels to make this bracelet.
I love how the suede lace was braided into the chain.
The colour options for suede lace is excellent!
This new bracelet by Nancy Donaldson features two of our new Faux Suede laces: Emerald Green and Green.
Nancy created a interesting connection between the two different laces.
Simple ribbon/end cord crimps finished the bracelet perfectly!
Imagine this bracelet is many different colours!
We have a very large new collection of Faux Suede lace.
Every colour is so pleasing!
They are available in spools or retail ready packages.
The Faux Suede tassels match perfectly!
Fernando Dasilva made this gorgeous set to showcase the tassels.
Bead Style also featured this necklace by Fernando in the March 2014 issue.
Our Dazzle-it product line has a special blog hop today featuring the work of many fabulous jewelers, crafters and designers!
Our new Faux Suede Tassels are the stars of this blog hop!
All the designer/artists in this blog hop received a “Dazzle-it Blog Hop Kit.” Each of the individual Dazzle-it colours was sent to one designer so they may have had white, yellow, green or even hot pink. They did not get to choose their main colour, it was randomly shipped. They were given an assortment of tassels, but I asked them to try and focus on using the one special colour set in their kit.
We could not resist sending the matching Faux Suede Lace cording when we planned this hop. The colour options are just wonderful! The designers also received several different new closures and clasps which I will be featuring in additional posts next month!
You’ll find a huge collection of inspired projects by heading over to the Dazzle-it blog!
Introducing the new Faux Suede lace collection!
The colour choices are fantastic and as you can imagine, they work beautifully with the new tassels!
