This leather collar necklace is from a collection Fernando DaSilva designed in 2014.

They were crafted as one of a kind jewelry for the “Goddesses and Gladiators” runway show in the United Kingdom.

You can see how wonderful this leather necklace looks on our model in these photos.

She is also carrying a clutch that Fernando designed and taught as a Leather Crafting class in the fall of 2014.

We’ll continue to feature this collection as inspiration on this blog next week.

Leather Crafting For the Catwalk – Post One

These leather jewels were created by hand by Fernando DaSilva for the “Goddesses and Gladiators” runway show in the United Kingdom last year.

We’ll post several more featured designs over the next few days.

On the runway, this set clearly stood out.

The earrings showcase many of the leather crafting techniques Fernando has been sharing as part of our Leather Works program.

The leather was coloured, distressed and shaped using tools in our collection.

Flat Leather For Designer Jewelry

These gorgeous bracelets were designed by Fernando DaSilva to highlight all the new colour options in our flat leather collection.

The addition of pearls makes this bracelet very feminine.

The flat leather animal prints are gorgeous.

Fernando combined the animal prints with solid colours.

He used our new Metal Complex oblong punch to create the open areas and also added a grooved line to the inside leather for additional detail work.

Our slider collection makes adding additional embellishment a breeze.

Your options are endless!
