Nappa Leather Fabulousness!

Fernando DaSilva created this fabulous necklace to demonstrate the numerous techniques you can use with our nappa leather.  It is knotted, cut, riveted and gathered into this one of a kind wearable.  When I asked him to describe the necklace he said:

“Edgy, vibrant, over the top, sexy!  The juxtapositions are unorthodox and I used dozens of rivets to design the necklace.  And, yellow is on trend!”

 Choosing the yellow from the collection was a dare indeed!

We do have quite a few options.  Now I want to use the yellow as well!

Braided Nappa Leather Bracelet

Our new Nappa Leather is soft and easy to manipulate.  This braided bracelet was fashioned by Nancy Donaldson for Metal Complex.

Nancy choose three colours to work with.

  

It is easy to create a piece to match virtually any colour pallet as the Nappa Leather collection includes 15 different colours.

Finishing your pieces is also easy if you use any of the Dazzle-it glue in magnetic clasps and twist lock clasps.

They are all availble in gold, silver and gunmetal.

Nappa Stitch Leather Necklace

This fabulous necklace by Nancy Donaldson is a showcase for our new Metal Complex Stitched Nappa Leather collection.

We have 15 fantastic solid and mixed print colours to choose from.  Nappa leather is available in two sizes; 3mm and 5mm.

Nancy choose three stitched nappa leather cords to work with.

12 gauge aluminum wire was used to secure the necklace shape and to add some additional detail.

The necklace was finished with a magnetic closure.  This heart magnetic closure is also new to the Leather Works collection.DSC07273

Metal Complex Sliders!

Nancy Donaldson fashioned these two gorgeous bracelets with two different types of leather.

Two strips of leopard nappa leather gold cord were set side by side for the first bracelet.

White flat leather was used for the second bracelet.

Finishing the bracelets is quite easy with our designed to match glue-in magnetic clasps.

 

The choices for clasps are wonderful and they are available in gold, silver and gunmetal.

The sliders are also available in the three colours shown.

Flat leather colour choices are fabulous too!
