Metal Stamping Tiered Pendant

One loyal friend is worth 1000 relatives!

I am feeling the need to stamp some words and quotes permanently onto metal blanks.  Happily Metal Complex has all I need to create some special pieces.

I used a marker to determine where I needed to punch each letter with my alphabet stamps.  I wanted to create a tiered pendant with three different sized blanks.

I used two stamp sets to create my quote:  Playground Lowercase and Modern Uppercase.  I used the letters “i and o” to stamp 1000.

After cleaning away my original markings the blanks looked super!  When I was sure they lined up and I marked my spots for the holes.

The Metal Complex round hole plier punch made quick work of this task!

A worthy message to wear if there ever was one!

The Stamped Washer Pendant Necklace

This necklace is from our photo archives.  The simplicity of the suede cord makes the washer pendant really stand out.

The washer was marked with our circle stamps.  A little gilders paste added some colour and depth.

The cord is available in spools.

The Metal complex blanks collection includes washers in numerous sizes.

Personalizing a Project in Minutes

Look no further than Metal Complex for quick and easy ways to personalize your projects!

For this necklace charm I simply stamped my name on this brass heart metal blank with my Modern Print metal alphabet stamps.

A hole was made quickly with my hole punching plier and my brass charm was ready to hang.

Metal Complex Washers for October Projects

This wire twisted pumpkin features a hand stamped Metal Complex Washer.

There are so many metal stamp fonts in the John Bead catalogue.  This is “lowercase playground” and it stamps beautifully.

I used black gilders paste to highlight my words and images.  I added some leaves and heart punches to my washer as well.

The washer is no longer a washer!  The wire is from the Dazzle-It collection of craft wires.  It is easy to twist and my friend Nancy came by to make several samples I’ll be posting later this week.

The two holes I added to make wiring it to the pumpkin easier were made with our new oval hole punching plier.
