Jerry Mathers is probably the first image to come to mind.
It was a thrill to see him in our booth at the Emmys celebrity gift lounge last month. As you can see, he has an Instant Glam Tuscany Quatro bezel that Fernando embellished with chain tassels.
Fernando said he was a wonderful guest.
I believe he is just as popular today as he was when he was this young.
Last month we had the pleasure of showing you dozens of photos we took when John Bead and a select group of companies participated in the Gift Lounge at the Emmys with the Craft and Hobby Association. We were part of a special group who hosted crafty make-n-takes for the celebrities. Our booth in the lounge featured special new jewelry designed by Fernando DaSilva.

Now that October is almost over, holiday celebrations are on the horizon.

At the Emmys Celebrity Gift Lounge last month we had the great pleasure to meet and “Instant Glam” Omar Dorsey and his family. Omar is known for his featured appearances on Eastbound & Down, NCIS, CSI: NY, Rake, Django Unchained, BONES, Rizzoli & Isles and Castle.
When I asked Fernando about this meeting he said “they were ultra nice…all of them got an Instant Glam necklace…Omar was surprised when I told him that I was going to make one for his little daughter, too.”

Fernando had the whole family working! What a pleasure to meet such a wonderful family!
Here we have celebrity guests AJ Buckley, Fernando DaSilva and James Madio!
It was great to see these two friends sit down to make an Instant Glam statement necklace at the Emmys last month.
I can see that James is quite interested in the diamond bezel AJ selected to work with.
CSI: New York alum AJ Buckley has joined the cast of FX’s Justified. James Madio is known for his lead roles in the television miniseries Band of Brothers, in which he portrayed Frank Perconte.
“Named one of the next generation’s leading men by GQ magazine and one of the hottest bachelors on television, James Lesure consistently delivers inspiring performances. Before starring in TBS’s comedy hitMen at Work, Lesure made viewers sit up and take notice with his performance as surveillance expert Mike Cannon on the hit series Las Vegas, opposite Josh Duhamel.”
Fernando and James immediately hit it off in our booth. He was very interested in all our samples and finished pieces.
We put him right to work designing his own Instant Glam pendant.
He did a pretty good job…but the Master was in the room so Fernando did step in to assist.
James needed the “gluing 101” demo.
He was a fantastic guest!

One of the surprise guests in our Emmys booth last month was Carla Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, who is also a model, recently wrapped up several red carpet and special appearances at parties for the 65th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. She appeared on the red carpet for events supporting some of her favorite charities such as Wounded Warriors, Susan G. Komen, Not for Sale – Human Trafficking, to name a few.
She was a wonderful guest and was really attracted to the Instant Glam Tuscany Quatro bezel statement necklace. She is an active bullying prevention advocate and I really enjoyed learning more about all her projects and commitments.
She did remove that wonderful crown so Fernando could assist her with the necklace clasp. The Quatro bezel looks stunning with the matching crystal rocks blue Swarovski applique!
It goes with out saying that occasionally you just hit it off with a person you just met. You might imagine that Fernando Dasilva and Vanessa Marcil are old friends.
Vanessa really liked everything that Fernando had on display in our Emmys Celebrity Gift booth last month. In particular, she was attracted to the Instant Glam diamond bezel already made with the matching Swarovski aquamarine flat backs. On the spot, Fernando customized it for her to wear with an extra with tassel.
While he worked, they chatted.
Vanessa Marcil is best known for her roles as Brenda Barrett on General Hospital, Gina Kincaid on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Sam Marquez on Las Vegas.
Look how happy she is with her finished necklace! Oh and look at the ring!
From Fernando: “She also received a finished ring form my Fernando DaSilva collection of moonstones briolletes and Swarovski crystal chatons…the ring was a copper blank…she loved it!”
