This center punch marks holes in your metal. By striking the punch with a hammer you will make a mark in your metal that marks the spot perfectly that you want to drill or punch through. If you have ever tried to drill through metal without a pre-made mark…you know that your drill head will often slide and scratch your piece. It needs a starting to point to grip and then you will make a hole that is perfect.
