John Bead has a wonderful collection of feathers in the catalogue. Peacock feathers are available in so many different formats that I thought I would share them with you.
The masks are truly gorgeous. There are even more in the collection.
Peacock feathers look fantastic combined with flowers. This designer really created a show stopping floral set for this wedding party.
I could not resist a fun title for this post. My friend Nancy Donaldson twists wire like it was a pen on paper. She has so much fun with our aluminum wire that I always think I can make something similar…and quickly discover I am not a wire worker at all.
Aluminum wire is inexpensive and available in so many colours. You don’t have to get too stressed if you are simply experimenting with design ideas.
I wanted my owl to have a little extra colour. I added a copper end cap to this gorgeous Dazzle-it feather.
These end caps make everything an instant dangle.
My last step was to select some beads to showcase my new owl pendant.
These mixed 4mm Czech Fire Polished bead strands were the perfect accent.
These are just a few of my favorite feathers in the Dazzle-it collection. They are called feather pads.
Each feather comes with a pad backing making it easy to attach.
Pantone declared GREEN the colour for 2013, so I started reviewing my jewelry making stash to see what I already had. The result is this feather, kumihimo, fabric and chain necklace.
One of the feathers I covered in jewelry resin. This makes my feather very permanent. I really like the glassy surface.
I thought about just using the one feather for my necklace.
In the end though, I continued to add more feathers since they were already in my package.
This is new gunmetal chain in the Dazzle-it family!
I was flipping through Pinterest on the weekend and noticed a number of feather ornament posts. What a brilliant idea. You need a clear glass ornament and some feathers. Together they create a glass ball that is full of colour. My choice for my first ornament was ivory and brown feathers.
For my second ornament I used teal and red.
I love how they look!
My tree has feathers You won’t have any problem making these. You’ll just have a very hard time selecting feathers from the catalogue…there are so many to choose from!
The Dazzle-it feather collection is getting bigger and bigger! These are just two from the new additions!
Wouldn’t this feather look amazing paired with some neon crystals?
