Abstract Landscapes Pattern – Free Workshop

In this video we are showing how to connect peyote stitch pieces to Gold Pendant Rainbow Beadwork Findings! Stitch up one of the gorgeous patterns, then turn it into an earring or a pendant. Patterns were inspired by landscape photography. The result of representing long-distance, complex images in a few pixels creates the neatest abstract art!

As if by magic, Mesmera flickers from purple to green and back again, bewitching the senses with its characteristic metamerism, meaning it appears to the eye as one color though it comprises a different spectral composition.
This mood ring-like shade was developed over several months with the prestigious Czech Academy of Sciences and contains trace amounts of a rare-earth metal called neodymium, causing the crystals to appear differently under natural and synthetic light wavelengths.

Description of Class: 

This class will focus on a fun technique of brick-stitch, placing the beads inside a hoop component with a fun finish with Czech bicone crystal for extra sparkle. You can create this design in any colors. The example designs use John Bead Czech Seed Beads in size 6/0 and 8/0 with 4mm Czech bicone crystals.

Crystal Sparkle Bracelet! Free Project with Michaels Classroom

Description of Class: 

In this class, we will learn a beginner-friendly design featuring sparking Czech crystal bicones! The shape of bicone beads work naturally to a right-angle-weave stitch. In this design, Czech SuperDuo 2-hole beads are integrated into the base stitch in a compass star. A pass back through the stitches adds a stacked embellishment of smaller bicones and seed beads, using the wings, or star-points, of the SuperDuo in a stitch that pulls them up.
