Kumihimo is such a wonderful way to craft a necklace that showcases your favorite beads. The favorite stringing material for kumihimo braiding is rattail. As you can see, Fernando DaSilva also created a rattail tassel with an end cap and simple knot.
Kumihimo braids can be any colour you like. Fernando combined teal and green for the main part of the necklace and then used white to create a knotted area for his crystal beads.
