If you are new to this blog you may not know about Second Skin Fish Leather. This eco-friendly surface is beautifully showcased with very little embellishment. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I did want to see what plum colored fish leather would look like in a heart shape. Happily, I love it!
For this project I gathered up my smaller left over pieces of fish leather and some thick felt.
I used Quick Grip glue to attach the leather to the felt before cutting out my heart.
I was able to sew some rhinestone chain to the edge.
This what I do with rhinestone necklaces. I cut them up to use in small projects like this one.
I glued the finished heart to the gray suede fish leather. This is my piece right out of the package. Each piece is unique and around this size. Perfect for cuff making!
I used my crystal snap applicator to attach one perfect Swarovski snap.
Perfect and so easy!
My cuff is ready to wear or give-a-way!
