I am certain that this bracelet designed by Thanh Tran will have you taking a closer look at the new Swarovski Elements pave beads at John Bead.  The bracelet appears in the new Innovations order catalogue highlighting the 2014 Spring/Summer collection.  This week we learned more about the trends predicted by Swarovski for the upcoming year.

Looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2014, four themes emerge:

MINIMALIST REFINEMENT (Classic) is defined by sculptural silhouettes trimmed with crystal in monochrome shades, including the new Light Silk.

The earthiness of FORCE OF NATURE (Romantic) is captured in vibrant, organic fabrics, using colors such as new Crystal Rose Gold.  (Shown in yesterday’s blog post)

POETIC RADIANCE (Progressive) radiates adventure, technology, and poetry in high-tech metallic and pearly synthetics.

MYTHICAL ALLURE (Glamour) exudes ethereal beauty in sensual, opulent materials.

Here is a closer look at the MINIMALIST REFINEMENT flags in the John Bead Swarovski Cafe.

Crystal is integrated into graphic prints to create sharp 3D architectural effects.

Shapes are stripped down and distilled to their basic elements with crystal adding interest as refined borders or edge detailing.

Strong silhouettes, with an exaggerated sculptural shape, are kept modern with tone-on-tone crystal patterning.

Crystal is used in geometric and interlocking forms.

New materials combined with crystal to create a new breed of streamlined designs.
